Obsesswell is a new generation Korean product that contains polyglutamic acid. Polyglutamic acid is an ingredient with proven five times higher moisturizing potential compared to hyaluronic acid. It guarantees spectacular power and multi-level hydration. PGA acid in the form of a hydrogel is capable of binding water molecules in an amount up to 3,500 times greater than its weight.
Analyzes of the properties of hyaluronic acid and PGA (polyglutamic acid) suggest that these two substances can complement each other. The research results indicate that PGA is highly effective in inhibiting the activity of hyaluronidase, the enzyme responsible for the breakdown of hyaluronic acid.

Obsesswell significantly increases the level of skin hydration and reduces transepidermal water loss. In a study comparing its properties with hyaluronic acid (also high molecular weight), high effectiveness of the substance in question was observed. PGA (polyglutamic acid) increases the content of hyaluronic acid in cells. Its use also leads to an increase in the content of substances that create NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) in the skin, in the case of some of them by 95%. An equally important property of PGA (polyglutamic acid) is the ability to stimulate the expression of genes responsible for the synthesis of filaggrin, involucrin, loricrin, i.e. proteins that build the structure of the stratum corneum of the epidermis.
